Miss. Pickett would like to give the worlds biggest THANK YOU to her amazing grade three kiddos for all their great work this week. These kids have been working so hard each and everyday. They tackled paper maching today with ease and were not afraid to get a little bit MESSY. I love that I can take on these fun activities with this group! I am so proud of their AWESOME behavior and willingness to get down to business to get so many different projects done!

I definitely have the best grade three crew EVER!! Please give your child a big hug for all the work they are doing in grade three! They amaze me each and everyday with their kind hearts and love of learning!

Wonderville is a great interactive science site with a bunch of fun activities for kids!

What a Crew!!

Wow! I am so amazed at this bunch of kiddos. They have nailed down rounding to the nearest ten and nearest hundred no problem! They are bunch of "MATH WIZARDS". These kids amaze me each day with their kind hearts, their hard working spirits and their zest for learning!

They are willing to take on any challenge I set in front of them with a smile and they truly try their best at everything!

These crazy monkeys can make me laugh and smile every moment of every day! I love each moment with them! Our classroom is filled with so much happiness! I could not have asked for a better batch of kiddos!

I am so proud of each child, their efforts for the first few months of school have been outstanding! Please celebrate your child's great accomplishments on their report cards because they have done a SPECTACULAR JOB.

A big congratulations goes out to HUNTER for being awarded the "Citizen of Tomorrow" certificate for Miss. Pickett's class. Hunter is a great role model to all students at MMH. She is always willing to lend a helping hand to others and she has the most amazing manners. Hunter always comes to school wearing a smile and is always ready to learn and take on new challenges. Hunter gives 130% in everything she does!

Way to go HUNTER! You are such a ray of sunshine and I am so proud of all the hard work you do at school. You are a very talented girl that is going to go so many wonderful places in life. Thank you for having a such a kind heart and always showing responsibility in the classroom.

Hello From Mexico!

Hi crazy monkeys. Just wanted to send you a quick note from Mexico. I am having a great time here. The weather is really hot. It was 34 degrees today so I am needing to wear a lot of sunscreen. We did some golfing today and we actually had to watch out for CROCODILES in some of the ponds on the golf course. That was interesting for sure. The ocean is beautiful. There have been some really big waves! I have lots of pictures to show you!

I hope you are working really hard for Mrs. Speelman! I know that you are doing a great job because you are such fabulous kiddos!

I am always amazed at the brilliant sentences that she creates in all her writing compositions. Lauren is a true ray of sunshine that brightens up our classroom each day!

On FRIDAY this week, the kids will be having a small "Canada Mapping Quiz". The kids will be need to label/identify the provinces and territories in Canada. A study guide is coming home with the kids today. Please do a quick review each night.

After school skating starts this week at Nicholas Sheran Arena. Skating will begin at 3:30 and run until 4:30. All students are REQUIRED to wear a proper skating helmet. There are helmets at the arena for your child to borrow if they do not have their own helmet. I will be supervising the after school skating program. Hope to see you there!!!
