You kids have so much to be proud of! Your work the the Museum of Canada today was amazing and seeing it all come together nearly brought me to tears because I know how hard each one of you worked on those projects for "Atlantic Canada". The smiles on your faces showed your sense of accomplishment.

A CLOUD

I just took a bite of a cloud and it tastes like clear, salty water with a touch of strawberry flavor. It feels like soft cotton candy melting in your mouth. When I take a bite of the cloud it feels like a fuzzy balloon that just popped!

Valentine's Day Skating Party

On Monday, February 14th we will be going skating at Nicholas Sheran Arena for our party. We will be skating from 1:00 - 2:30. Parent drivers are needed to transport kids to and from the skating rink.

We are also requesting HEALTHY SNACKS to munch on when return to the school.

We will be opening our Valentine's from 11:15 - 11:45 on Monday. A class list is coming home with your child to write up their Valentine's. If they are bringing in Valentine cards they need to bring one in for each student in the class.

A driver note and snack sign up sheet is coming home with your child today. Please return it as soon as possible.

Miss. Pickett is sick today so there have been a few changes.

1) The math test will now be taking place tomorrow.

2) There is no spelling for this week.

MATH TEST ON MONDAY!

ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 7 WE WILL BE HAVING OUR "ADDITION AND SUBTRACTION" UNIT TEST IN MATH.

YOUR CHILD IS BRINGING HOME THEIR REVIEW SHEET FOR THIS UNIT. THE TEST WILL BE VERY SIMILAR TO THIS SHEET...SOME OF THE QUESTIONS WILL EVEN BE THE SAME.

PLEASE HAVE YOUR CHILD STUDY THE REVIEW SHEET FOR A FEW MINUTES EACH DAY THIS WEEKEND.

THE KIDS KNOW THIS STUFF WELL. YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SEE BY THE MARK ON THEIR REVIEW SHEET WHERE SOME EXTRA PRACTICE IS NEEDED OVER THE WEEKEND.
