Hello Families! “Blogging” is a school wide project that is being taken on by the teachers at MMH school. We will cut down on the amount of paper that travels home with this cool, creative and interactive technology tool! There are links to great learning websites on the subject pages for your child. If at any time you have any suggestions of what you’d like to see on the blog, please let me know and we’ll see if we can make that happen! Here is my email address: corrina.barker@lethsd.ab.ca

Christmas Concert INFO
One rehearsal in morning JUST FOR STUDENTS!
Information for the 2nd dress rehearsal:
The second rehearsal will also take place in the school gym, from 1:00-2:30 p.m. This will be a time for those people not receiving a ticket for the evening performance to attend to watch the concert.
For this rehearsal, students will stay out of the gym until it’s time for them to enter. I am assuming students will enter the gym closest to the music room (stage), but these details will be shared later.
We will have 250 chairs set up for parents and others not able to attend the evening performance.
Recess will follow the afternoon rehearsal.
EVENING CONCERT:
The evening concert at Southminster United Church, located at 1011 4th Avenue South.
Grades K-5 performers are to arrive at Southminster between 6:00-6:15 p.m. and can be dropped off at the east side entrance (on 11th Street on the east side of the building). Students will then be taken to designated spots (K-2 in large gym; grades 3-4 students in small gym upstairs) (Mike is looking after the movie/tech. for grades 3-4; Nicole is looking after movies/tech. for grades 3-4) to get organized to perform.
All “ticket holders” will then enter Southminster through the front (main) doors.
The actual performance will take place from 6:30 to 7:45 p.m.
