The grade three students of MMH school have initiated a school wide fundraiser for UPHILL BOTH WAYS (global fundraiser) and YMCA HARBOR HOUSE (local fundraiser).

If you have any spare change at home please send it our way so that we can reach our fundraising goal to help these two great organizations.

EVERY LITTLE BIT GOES A LONG WAY!!!

Each grade three teacher will dress up or do something crazy every day that the “money challenge amount” is met by the students of MMH!!

FAMILY DANCE AT MIKE MOUNTAIN HORSE THIS THURSDAY NIGHT (MARCH 29th).

Cost is $1.00

Students must be accompained by a parent!!!

Chirpy and Cutie growing!

Chirpy and Cutie hanging out in their new, soft home! They are loving all the space being outside the incubator!

They are noisy little ones today...Chirpy being the loudest of the two!!

Chick Update...

I have been in the school to spend some time with our chicks. Chirpy and Cutie are doing very well. I have moved them out of the incubator to their new home (so there will be new chick jobs this coming week). They are enjoying the extra space to run around.

There has been no progress with the other eggs at this point so they remain in the incubator.

The chicks look forward to seeing you on Monday. They are very noisy little ones when they want to be!

USBORNE BOOK FAIR

TOMORROW AND FRIDAY IS THE "USBORNE BOOK FAIR" AT THE SCHOOL.

Tomorrow your child can "window shop" if they like and then make their purchases on FRIDAY.

They can also make their purchases tomorrow if they have their money.

PLEASE MAKE SURE THEY BRING THEIR MONEY IN A SECURE BAG WITH THEIR NAME ON IT.

I WILL HAVE THEM GIVE ALL MONEY TO ME IN THE MORNING FOR SAFE KEEPING.

Usborne books are fabulous!!! They are a wonderful purchase and great quality!

The grade three classes are bringing in EASTER materials to create an "EASTER BASKET" that will be auctioned off as a fundraiser for "Uphill Both Ways". "Uphill Both Ways" is a group that works to supply schools in Nepal with materials that they cannot afford to have in their schools without the help of others. Let's work together to give these students in Nepal the necessities for school! :)
