Geocaching Trip Thursday!
Geocaching Adventure Thursday
Dear Parents:
We are learning about mapping and mapping skills in our Social Studies unit right now. We are headed out on a “geocaching adventure” on Thursday afternoon to teach kids about using a compass and coordinates to find a hidden item. We will be walking to our destination points in west Lethbridge that are located in areas that are in fairly close proximity to the school.
We are going to be leaving the school at 1:25 pm and we will be returning prior to 3:00 pm.
If you are available and would like to join us on this “geocaching adventure” please let us know. We would love to have the extra help.

Parent Helpers for Terry Fox Walk
PARENT HELPERS NEEDED...
Next Friday (Sept. 21) we are doing our annual Terry Fox walk around NICHOLAS SHERAN PARK.
I would love to have parents come assist with this activity.
We will be leaving the school first thing in the morning after announcements and O Canada. We will be walking all the way to Nicholas Sheran Park, around the lake and then back to MMH.
I will be sending home a letter to ask for parent volunteers tomorrow.

Another summer has quickly passed and we are BACK TO SCHOOL!!! WHOO HOO!!!!
I hope you all had a wonderful summer filled with smiles, laughter and lots of exciting adventures. I am very excited for the start of the school year and CANNOT wait to meet my new batch of kiddos.
We are going to have an absolutely wonderful year in grade three...look forward to fun times, laughs, smiles and great learning experiences that will challenge your mind and your creativity on a daily basis.
I love students who always give their best effort at everything they do!!! A little hard work always goes a long way.
